Brugge/Bruges & Ghent

Yesterday we went to Ghent and Brugge.

In Ghent we checked out the Belfry and the church of Saint Bavo. While we were in the church's crypt, a choir (I guess the church choir? No idea though.) started singing hymns and it was echoing through the whole place. Kind of like a flashmob, but religious. It was pretty awesome/spooky.

Here's another crazy old church, which was under construction. Or maybe they were filming another Harry Potter there. Who knows.
From Ghent we went to Brugge, which was similar but more touristy. I liked it anyway, though.

We stumbled upon a party in Astrid park, called Vama Veche. Apparently there are hipsters everywhere, even in the middle of nowhere. :)

The apoteek!

Looks pretty good, considering it was built in 1648.

You can take boat cruises around the canals, too. Whee!
Speaking of canals, I think we're heading to Amsterdam tomorrow. Or the next day.
