London

Our first stop for the trip was in London. My perception of the city has completely changed (for the better) since my last visit. I met a German girl in my first hostel and we hung out the entire day on Wednesday, before Matt arrived. She and I went to Oxford Circus and laughed at the 80's fashions. I also got to see a lot of the city this time, but there was way still way too much to do. The Tube is pretty convenient but it's no MTR! I think we've been spoiled in Hong Kong as far as public transport goes. We had pretty good weather for about half the days, so that was nice.

We went to the Tower of London on Saturday, which was pretty awesome, aside from all the tourists. We saw the Crown Jewels and the Henry VIII exhibit with all of his suits of armor. There was even a real wedding! Crazy.

Ravens. Eek!
Hello there.

On Sunday we went to an organ recital at Westminster Abbey (admission was free, and we got to see inside!). I sat next to a mouth breather but other than that it was excellent.

We took the Eurostar to Paris today. I'll post about that later!
