Joe came to visit last week from South Korea! Matt and I showed him around Tai Po and Hong Kong in general, and then on Thursday night we went out for his birthday. It was super fun, until I lost my wallet. I retraced my steps and luckily it was still at the club across the road, all my money intact!On Friday we went to the Big Buddha on Lantau Island, which Matt and I still hadn't been to. (It's really far from Tai Po!) It's way up on a mountain so we were literally walking through clouds to get up there.
Joe ate some clouds. I would post the video but I don't think he'd enjoy that! :)
Anyway, we might have a reciprocal visit to South Korea if possible, maybe in May or June. In the meantime, I'm headed to China on Thursday for another attachment. This time I'll be in Nanjing for 10 days.
