Matt and I went to my co-worker's (Selina) wedding last night. They had the ceremony at 8 pm in a banquet hall in Tsuen Wan, complete with Powerpoint slideshow and "signing ceremony" with the parents. The White People's Table got a special thank you (I assume for enduring the 12 courses of Chinese cuisine to come). Not kidding. It was 12 different dishes. And yet, no cake. (?)

Then came the toasts. Selina went to change into her pink dress for this part -- she started in white, but I guess Chinese weddings require at least one costume change for the bride. Apparently they can wear up to 4 different dresses in one wedding!

After the toasts there was a lucky draw, and then we finally finished dinner. We could barely stand at this point.
The desserts were served (marshmallow bunnies), and within 10 minutes everyone else disappeared. I didn't even notice that the other guests were gone until the cleaning lady came and removed the table cloth. lol.

It was pretty amusing, and Selina looked gorgeous. I just hope I don't have to go to another one anytime soon! ;)
