I went to the HK Heritage Museum's exhibit on "The Golden Age of Couture: 1947-1957" yesterday. They had tons of gorgeous dresses from Dior & Balenciaga, lingerie, shoes, hats, embroidery samples, fabrics, and even dolls. The exhibit also included photography and fashion shows from the archives -- check out Richard Avedon's work if you haven't already; I'm currently drooling over all of it. Definitely worth the $5 (HKD)!!Oh, and the waist sizes? Forget eating. Ever.
