Day 4 was Christmas Day. We spent most of it recovering from Christmas Eve (or Jesus' Birthday Party) drinking coffee and eating waffles. We did manage to go visit a temple, but it wasn't the one we meant to see. (Joe, I feel like we failed you a little bit. We had planned on being way more adventurous but it was SO cold and we were really tired. Sad face.)

After the temple excursion we met up with the hostelers for dinner. Little did we (read: the 8 of us) know that in Korea, Christmas is more like Valentine's Day, and the only tables available were for couples, or reservations. We nearly ended up eating bar food but luckily somebody found a terrific sushi place with American-style sushi rolls. Obviously I was ok with this. :)
Day 5
We had to catch the bus to the airport so we didn't get to do much on the last day except go to the grocery store and stock up on (supposedly) edible souvenirs, like dried octopus and Silkworm Pupa in a can. Yum.
Koreans also eat lots of this soybean pepper paste stuff. WHAT A SAVINGS!

It's pretty good but we didn't want to carry it through customs.
Oh, and we finally tried Bibimbap at the airport. Good work, Korea!!
