Sai Kung: an adventure.

Dr. Shive organized a hike for us out on Sai Kung peninsula this past Saturday. It was quite possibly the best place in Hong Kong so far.

We took a ferry out from Ma Liu Shui pier in the morning.

Scott/Gilligan.

After a pretty intense hour-and-half-long hike, we reached the peak.

View from the top.

From there, it was about 30 minutes to the beach.

This is Hong Kong?

Just cross this bridge to get your lunch.
(That's one plank in the middle. Seriously.)

After lunch and laying out on the beach, we hiked back to the pier.

Boats in the harbor.

Yes, we're doing this again. You can come if you want.
