The police have crossed the line, again. Say what you will about Andrew's questions or the fact that he didn't submit to officers, but SERIOUSLY? a TASER?!
I don't know if the popo are so testy because Gainesville is the only semi-liberal speck in a sea of republican voters, but this kind of violence is absolutely ridiculous. It's not just on campus, either.
It seems that any kind of activism is now suspect. When I rode in Critical Mass, we were followed for the entire ride by no fewer than 8 police cars.
Don't they have anything better to do?
What are they so afraid of?
